So near yet so far.....

What actually happened yesterday??? Haha... It's sort of funny n tiring. It happened when i started working yesterday at siglap.... i got to know that the storeroom is leaking. water was dripping from the ceiling since yesterday morning. when my senior went for her lunch, i was doing my own things like slacking around as there it was really very boring. Suddenly when i turned my head to the left n i was really shocked. the water has flooded to the counter area. it was really serious n i went into the storeroom n check it out. oomg!!! the 2 ceiling board was broken and it fell into the floor. i was really grateful that no one was siting and resting in that area at that point of time as the board was nt that light. It was really scary sia. From that point of time, my senior, manager and a few guys were starting to be very busy as we need to clean and mop the floor... clear the damaged boexes. i remembered that i was involved in the catching the waterfall too... haha. somemore, our own contractor can't fix the thing as it was cosidered the landlord's problem. haiz.... even our office ppl also can't do anithing. then we went up to the 2nd level and inform the blangadashs nt to used the toilet as the pipe is leaking seriously. luckily, yesterday... there was a guy from other outlet who also came to help out with us to do closing with me. or rlse, i dun think i'll dare to go up alone to inform them. all of them are foreginers and only one of them mamnged to speak english. the way up to the 2nd floor is damn ulu n dark... i dun think i'm going there alone. so werid! how we managed to resolve this prob tentitively is that we used a special tape to cover the pipe hole be4 we left. hopefully it will work and dun gush out like the waterfall or else later i hav to catch the dirty smelly water again....

Why the guy is attached? I feel that we can actually talk a lot without knowing that we just met. Somemore, there are many things that he initated for a talk. maybe he's just being too extrovert. haiz. when i got to know that he has a gf, i was so sad. he is actually staying and working so near around me yet i hav no hope tat we can even go further. before that, i even decided to ask for his phone no. can u imagine that fiona will actually ask other ppl for number especially stranger? this is nt ah fio man... haiz. maybe i should jus stop day dreaming and return back to the realistic world... when will my mr white prince appear in front of me? god, can u tell me???

a long long post

hahaha! 2 months already.... for 2 mths i haven been blogging!!!! paiseh for those who keep viewing my blog n see nothing... ok, where shall i start leh? ok... every since my hoilday starts from end of feb.... i hav been slacking all the way until now... at the very start of my hoilday, wenyi, sarah n i went to a job agency to work in hotel banquet. i only worked for about 3 or 4 days n i had finally decided to quit since it's a tough job for ppl like me... my parents also object me to continue this job since it's nt worth it due to physically strains. somemore it's the same pay as my current job at video ezy... still i prefer the working environment n culture at VE... haha! it's much more relaxing n we can communicate with nice customers... although i know i can lotz of things from hotel baquest but haiz.... i still can't take it... my leg is always pain and so is my shoulder. we hav to carry the tray every time. so tiring.... n there's once... it's a st patrick celebration at a particular hotel. it's a torture as it'a a buffet setting. it's really more more tiring that normal dinner banquet cuz we hav to stand at all times to serve guests who are also standing. hav to walk around with a stupid sliver tray which is damn heavy. it's really much heavy than the normal plastic one. my hands will be very shaking whenever i carry the silver tray with drinks on it! so scarry lor... then there's one captain still said hey, can ur hands dun 'dou' so much???! i feel so sad sia. it was only my second time working at that hotel. i hav no experience in this line. i told myself that i will never go into F and B this industry in future. My coming sem, i hav to take a module called service methology. n we hav to under training for 1 mth before serving students and teachers at a cafe in our ch, sugar loaf. Hopefully, that will be my last time to come in contact with such thing. haiz.... i dun like f and b from start until now. i tried working in banquet as i wan to see if i really suit f and b this industry. maybe... it really doesn't suits me.

during this holiday... i also went for a long holiday at bangkok. it was a 5d4n stay. it was super warm over there but i love manythings over there! one is the things are very cheap over there. especially the clothings, wallet, food, accomodation. i went with my cousin joey, her mum, her mum's friends. it's a good move that we are out with aunties cuz they are there ti heklp us slashed the price. teher's once i went to a road side stall, the owner did nt wan to offer us a lower price until my aunt came to look for us. i'm some sort angry with the ppl there that they actually bully the younger ones like ne n my cousin joey. the second thing i like about my bangkok trip is the comort zone of the hotel which we were staying at. the hotel is used to be a service apartment. now it's converted to hotel. i like the hotel so much as it' consider clean n big with fridge, hi-5 set, tv, 2 qeen size beds, bath-tube, big waredrobe, balcony in each rm. somemore our room was facing the view of the city. however we hav to pay 200 sin dollars deposit for each room. at first, i was damn afriad that the hotel is like those very old old room with no facilities. but i'm relieved! there are so many facilities like gym, suana rm, small varities of dvd rental, swimming pool, jacuzzi n more! the air transport was also a pleasant one. we took the thai airways. it's blesssful that we didn;t take budget airway. i had spend a lot of money over there. i kept withdrawing money from my atm card. in the end, i spent about 500 sin dollars on food n shopping. haiz. so total, i spend about a thousand dollar there including air ticket n accomodation. aniway, this trip was considered an enjoyable one with gd n bad events happening. it's an eye-opening event for me... haha! i hav learnt something n culture about thailand too... =) i hope that i can go to pattaya next time. it's beaching time!

after i came back from thailand, i started to become a workoholic as i nd to recover my expenses which i had spend. besides, i also bought an acer lappie from the IT fair last month. my dad sponsor me 1thousand dollar while my grandma sponsor me 200dollar. therefore, i must nt forget how good they hav treat me... must be good to them by spending time with them.

on last sun, 30th of marach... i was really proud of myself. it was really my first time playing mahjong tong siao with joey n her friends. we started playing from 7pm plus until the next mornig at 8am. it was really crazy sia. we only hav a long break at tampines mac around 2 plua in the morning to fill up our stomach. we continued playing after that. before the break, i lost a lot of money however after that break... i kept winning n i felt that my playing tactics has improved tremendously out of no where, maybe practice makes perfect ba ... haha! however, i'm still learning in process in order to play better. hope that i can play mahjoing with them again soon. but this serves me right. i only slpt for 3 h after 9am in the nex morning n i felt wobby when i was on my way to work after a visit to bright hill temple for chin ming.

1/4/08, tues, it was really a bad day..... i will continue on the next post as i had typed a lot today liao... haha, feeling tired my now.... yawnz.... nitez.

Slow learner

Haiz... Today, i went for the BCs revision lectuer... It doesn't seem to help me know what i'm revising... The lecturer went so fast like a train... Must rely on myself to do final revison before the actual test takes place on next tues evening.... I feel somehow upset as i think i'm a slow learner in language like Jap. Why i feel this way? Because today my jap's group was very participative. We tried to help one another to memorise our lines for the role play. It was know done half-way... However, among 4 of us, i'm always the one who is nt clear with pronounciation and forgot the diificult lines most of the time... Feel so demoralised now... They all can memorised and speak quite fulently when we are rehearsing... Although i seemed to be fine when i'm with them... Deep inside my heart, i'm really sad. I really dun wish that i'm the one who will be causing in the decrease of overall marks during the actual role play. Haiz...

Tml, i can't accompany wenyi to go and shop for her friend's farewell gift as i feel that i need more time to revise for my BCS.... I'll be working on sat morning till late evening.... Feel so down now... STill have so many things to deal with after CNY. I thought everything seems to be quite ok after last week but the level of stress is still there. Somehow, i have a very bad premonition that something will happen soon in my workplace. Hopefully, i'm just been too paraniod ba...
=( going to rest soon..... haiz... i think my com is going crazy soon. msn messebger received emails then i can't view. Should be virus attacking my com liao la....!

What a bad day....

Today, our comm skills lesson was cancelled as our teacher wasn't feeling well... Haiz... If he would tell us that he wanted to cancel the lesson earlier, i'll not be in sch today already... Luckily, i went to sch at 11an cuz there wan't any Public speaking lecture this morning... My friends went but the lecturer didn't appear... So sad.... I hesitated if i shoud go for marketing lecture this afternoon. Finally, i decided to go after lunch at a newly opened cafe in sch. I was quite unhappy cuz the person kept forgetting that we requested not to add salt in our fries... This was the second time that they didn't act according for our request... Next time, i will definitely not order fries from them animore.... The only thing i like there is their brownie... So yammy...

Today's marketing lecture was quite useful as the lecturer did give us some tips on how to answer the questions in the case study. I never regretted going for the lecture today... Haha... But he is so bad... He said those who start revision one or two weeks before the exam will not pass one... Must start revision at least 1 month in advance... The thing is that we have so many projects and assignments to rush for the past few weeks.... We don't even have enough time to sleep lor.... Haiz... Must work extremely hard in order to pull up my marks for marketing as i didn't do very well for the first assignment for marketing case study.....

I was so fed up when i was working today. I met a customer who is always very nice and polite all the time but today he was a completely different person when it comes to late fees. I assumed that he had not returned the title as i went to the store to check the number of copies if it's tally with the system. It tallies with the correct no. of copies ava in store. Therefore, it's confirmed that he had not returned. Now, he had to pay the late fees if he manged to find the title in his house. If he can't find, he has to pay late fees plus the price of ex-rental dvd. SO he was unhappy with this. It's sonon-sensical of what he had said. He said why should he pay for the price of dvd ex-retal price. The fact is that if he had lost the disc, he definitely have to compensate isn't it? He's such a unreasonable cust. Finally, this prob is resolved by reducing the late fee to a certain amount. Then he can let me off and have my peace. After this, i did not have the appetite to continue my leftover KFC meal. HAiz... Bad day! Hopefully, he will nt come and make a big fuss again during his next visit...

Finally left 1 more presenatation before CNY

Haha! Fianlly left BCS presentation to go before CNY which is today on the coming sch day. Oh yeah! LAst friday, after marketing presentation, i really felt much relieved after so much workload. However, the BCS project had given our group a big headache during the weekend! luckliy, we maanged to Ko the problems before the deadline... On monday, it was our Ob presentation day. We had a great fun there! The role plays were really entertaining sia! Can't help laughing most of the time at that time... I wa wearing thick eye-liner as my role was one of the under-cover of emo-kids... I have uploaded many picts in my friendster n class blog... Look so shocking when i wore thick eye-liner... My team mates said i looked the most emo lor... Haha, can't believe it! I really felt that i had a great deal of fun! AFter that, i went to work last min as there wasn't enough ppl in my workplace. I had decided to quit some time after my exam cuz of politics problem... I really wish that i can stay and work with my colleagues again... I really contented that i get to know them in my life... It's really a blessing... Especially with my senior, caryl whom i started working with when i was at marine parade to siglap... I was feeling really sad whenever i think of this. No matter, we will want each other to find a more suitable and better place to work. So let's wish all of us will be able to have a better opportunity! yea... We must look forward for a better future... going to slp soon after finish uploading the class photos on class blog... nite....

Time flew very fast today

Today, my group and i were busy editing our project work... We felt that time flew past us very quickly. One lesson followed by another. Today's meeting after school wasn't a very productive one. We were some how not very well-prepared for the presentation even though our slides are out already. Hopefully, we can make full use of the time on Thurs for rehersal. I was so happy that i managed to finish my parts assigned for the Dreamweaver group project. Thanks to my cousin joey! Or else i'm still stuck at the same spot. Haha... Omg! It's been confirmed that one of my senior in my workplace is getting married... Finally ar... I have waited until my neck becomes very long already. By right she is married by now but due to some issues, her wedding is postponed from last yr april to this yr feb. Somemore, it falls on the 21th of feb! My final yr paper starts on the 22th of feb. Luckily,i have only 3 papers to take this time. What a coincidence ar.... Haha, this means that i have to study in advance in roder to enjoy on that big occassion! Yea, i finally can wear the white dress which i had bought recently le... It's just suitable for this type of occassion. Hehe. Haiz, there's another sad news apart from this. There's a great possiblilty that my another senior in the workplace may be transfered to other outlet soon. Haaiz... I really feel attached to the people whom i have worked so long with them already. Seriously, can't bear to see her leave. She has been a really nice and great senior who cares for her staff a lot. Hopefully, there will be a miracle... =) Nite, so tired now. Go n slp le.

MY blog is revived!!!

Haha, i can't belive that i haven't make ani post since Oct.... I'm too lazy to do something to this blog. Ya, finally i make an effort to write here... wahaha.... Yesterday, i went to do something crazy... That's to creat a new hairstyle! I can't believe that i have decided to cut my hair short this time. I went to Supercuts which is near to my work place yesterday to ask about their pricing... AT first, i hestitated cuz they have additional 10% on all services due to CNY... But i still went back to cut cuz i dun have much time left to go forhair cut on another day le... SO amny projeccts and presentations on the coming weeks... It's considered quite expensive but i still choose to have a try there. I'm really shocked after the hair cut cuz i really like different. But at least i'm quite satisfied with the new style... But i need to put on some thing to style my hair end or else it'l be a little messy... Yea, i'm looking forward after my BCS test which is on the CNY week.... AFter that, i can finally take a little break as compare to the life i have now... I can't imagine that there are 2 projects due and 1 assignment due on the coming week. 2 presentations and 1 jap listening test... oh gsh.. Yesterday, my cousin Joey n 2 of our colleagues went for Jy's concert... So envy.... They can even rush from their seats to the front during the encore... That's the advantage of buying the most expensive tickets of a concert. haha... I shall stop here... Must get things started.... =)
