It has been so long i didn't blog le... Sorry... I'm really busy with my school and work. It's not easy to work n study at the same time... No free time for me to do my leisure activity. Haiz... Projects are going to due soon. Yet our group's pace for iht project is really really far behind from others. No matter what, i have a very bad feeling that we can't finish on time. Die le...

My 18th birthday had finally past le. Finally 18 liao lor... Yeah, legal age to drink and buy 4-D. Haha! On my actual day of birthday, i had celebrate with my family and friends.... I'm really glad that my different groups of friends actually mingled quite well yesterday. Really sorry that i may not handle well in mingling well with different groups of friends. So busy with everything. The celebration is held at East Coast Chalet. I find that the chalet is much bigger than coasta sands pasir ris and downntown. I really like spacious room cuz can accomodate more people. Actually, i didn't expect many of my friends to stay overnight cause they give me a feeling that they are very tired. Really enjoyed myself there... Thanks everyone who are there... N... the presents... i really like them.. Btw, it was first time drinking so much alcoholic drinks yesterday. I drink a little of Tiger Beer and Vodka. Then when we were playing games at night... The losers had to do forfit by offering drinks to other people. I'm nt the losers yet i was kanna to drink red wines by my neighbours in the chalet. They really asked me to finsh the remaining amount of wine in the bottle sia. I was really worried lo... First time to drink so much. Luckily, i had my friends to drink most of the wine on behalf of me... I really feel so touched! Thanks...! However, i wasn't so lucky cuz they insisted that i shall drink another cup of wine which is mixed with coke. Argh... I feel that they are very 'da fang' sia... one bottle of wine is not cheap lo... Then that makes me so drowsy when it was about 4 plus. 2 of my friends also can't tahan le... We went to take a nap n they left around 6plus. Erm... As for my cousin joey leh... I shall aslo say thank you to her... She stayed overnight despite that all are my friends are there. Really feel sorry if she felt a bit left out at times... But i knew she seems to enjoy herself too... haha, shall stop here le... must start revison for the coming tests... =)

I had a fun day!

Yesterday, i went to Jurong Swimming Complex with 2 of my friends. We met at Chinese Garden MRt control station. I was really surprised that we could actually walk to the destination from the MRT station. It was really a long time that i didn't go to swim already. I guess more than one or two years already. Somemore this swimming pool does not allow us to wear t-shirt into the pool. So i really feel awakard wearing the swim suit. I really envy Wenyi that she is atying just next to the complex. If i am her, i will definitely visit there frequently since there is gym and swimming facilities. I was really scared when i went into the competition pool as i dun really noe how to swim. The pool at the center is 1.8m deep lor. Luckliy, Sarch and Wenyi know how to swim so i felt much secured. Then i met a "lao bei bei" lor. He asked us where i study lor. It's ok to ask. then he started to ask for my name. Intially, i thought he was asking one of my friends but they told me he was asking mine lor. I was freaked out. We decided to get out of that competition pool and went to shower. Haha! Dun let me see him again ar. Or else i will ask run away as fast as possible as Sarah and wenyi said that he has a 'se' look lor. I also agreed with them. haha! We had played the shortest slide there. It was really exciting and scary as the sliding speed was really fast like a rollar coaster. This only last for about 5 seconds only then we were splashed into the pool. The only thing i dun really like all the slides are enclosed. So scary if i am stucked half-way there! Overall, I feel that it's really worth while to go there and swim because it's only eighty cents for people below 18 years old. Haha, i'm still nt 18years old... So, i just paid this amount. As for people above 18years old, it's one dollar and fifty cents. See it's really far cheaper than Wild Wild Wet. The facilities there are about the same as WWW. The onlt thing is that the place is opened very long ago. So it's not as exciting as WWW ba... Somemore, we had seen a rainbow over there beacuse of the splashing water and sunlight. It was really a nice scene!

Haiz... My first week of vacation is going to end soon le. Really feel sad lor. It's like i had to wake up about 8am in the morning everyday for this week cuz of projects. Luckily, my groups are doing the project at school. So i dun nd to wake up that earli... keke! haha... I'm working for the first day of the week. Yeah! So happy lor, can earn money le. Or else no money to shop... I shall go n rest le, tml still need to go back to school for project... Haiz....

Holiday mood!

Haha! Finally it's my holiday already! Btw, thanks to winnie who asked me to update my blog or else i'll be too lazy to update le. During my mid-sem test, my holiday starts liao lor. I still can choiong the HK series very quickly. Overall, i think my mid-sem test is quite easy... I think i'll have confidence in scoring high marks for macro-economics. For other subjects, i'm not sure if i can do well. It's ok... It's over already. No matter wha grades i get, i will continue to work even harder. Immediately after the last paper yesterday, i went to K box at cineleisure with Wenyi, Sarah and Elieen. We had given Wenyi a surprise as we bought her some presents and a small birthday cake. Even though her birthday was over long ago, sarah initiated this idea because we want to surprise Wenyi. We had a lot of fun there as we even high until we stood up on the sofa.

I was really upset because the person told us that our session ends at 5.30pm. By right it should end at 7pm. Then they said Friday night has a lot of reservation and our room has been booked for the next session. Haiz, we left the place at 6pm. After that, we saw a MDIS roadshow outside Cineleisure. We got to know more about our course and it's specialisation. Luckily, Sarah mentioned about our Introduction to hospitality and tourism feild trip. She encouraged the three of us to make use of the time to visit the place which we have selected. So, we didn't need to meet up this Saturaday afternoon. Yesterday, we went to a Korean restaurant at Amara hotel. I was really impressed of the overall ambience and the grandness of the hotel. I really hope that i have the chance to stay in the hotel itself. I was so tempted to stay there.... I was really happy as it was my first time to go into a hotel's restaurant! Haha!!! This is the Kimchi Hotpot which we ordered. It's really spicy but i like the flavour! haha... It's considered quite cheap as the 3 of us paid about $9 plus for it only.

Argh!! I was so sad... I need to buy a skirt for my formal wear because for my course, girls must waer skirt during very formal occassion. Too bad, i had bought a pants at Metro before my Pace interview. Haiz... Need to spend money again. I had thought of colouring my hair again but when i got to know that my course don't allow hair of unatural tone, i decided not to do it liao. Just in case they say i can't present arh! So sian lor... Then i started working at 4pm today, yet i still feel very tired when i stopped work at 10pm. Maybe i think i'm still not used to work after so many days of break from work. I wanted to work more on the first week of holiday but it seems like i have no time at all! The weekdays of first week holiday are reserved for my piles of group projects... Somemore, my another group has encounter diificulty in planning. Hopefully, we can learn to be a better organizer in the coming days... haha!

Mid sem test is coming....

Haha, tomorrow is my first day of mid sem test already. Time flies... It's really fast that it's going to be 1/2 of semester in Poly already. I still feel that i have justed started school not long ago. I'm going to give it my best shot for this mid semester test.... I must do well for it or else i will go crazy lor... I did put in a lot of effort in revising all the subjects. Can u imagine i still can enjoy a tvbi hong knong show in the internet at this period of time? I like this show, 酒店风云, because it shows partly how a hotel runs and some unexpected situation may occured. Although this show was out in 2005, i still enjoy watching. Haha! I feel that i'm out of control lo... At first i told myself to watch one episode of that show after revising for one subject. But it seems like... I am out of control already... Keke... Dun worry... I still have confidence in my coming tests! Because, i want to select some popular CDS sub in the sem/ term... Some CDS i will like to take is JApanese, Sociology and Psyc. I am very afraid cuz i herad my cousin that she is the only one being selected for Jap class when she was in year1. So i must work super hard to achieve good results... Overall, i feel that it's fun to be poly as i have manged to find a clinque by now... They are really nice people... Most imporatantly, i really enjoy myself when we are together. On last mon, 28th of May... It was my classmate, Yin Ying and my dad's birthday... My class had bought a cake for Yinying and we took some fun shots after the lesson, Comm skills ended. We even asked our teacher to help us took the class photos. HAha! Although some pic are not really clear, we still appreciate of his help...

Very busy life in Poly

It's really long that i didn't make a new post already... Really sorry... I'm so busy with tutorials, group projects, revision and work. It's really stress when all the projects come. Every subject condirms have one. Somemore, included communication skills, it's total 6 group project and 1 individual feild trip report. See, i so busy. I guess everyone in poly yr1 face this problem ba. So no choice, like what my friend one must learn to adapt or else we can't survive.

Today in the early morning, i went for a cca interview. It requires us to wear formally. I dressed in that way with hair bun up. Really uncomfortable with formal wear now cuz it makes me look even older. However, i like the smartness of formal wear.

Somemore, i took a long time to bun up my hair since it was my first time. It wasn't my first time to go for a cca interview. I did went for my course interest group. I did went in for the first round of interview but failed to be qualified for the second round. I'm so confused that if i should go foa any cca cuz i have to work and study at the same time. That's y the cca interviewers will confirm ask what if our cca day clashes with ur work day. Haiz... Hopefully, i really can mange my time well. Later on, i'll be going to work liao. Then tml working morning shift. see, i'm so busy. Haven't even started my term test revision. I only manage to do most of the mind-maps already. Left only the the research h&t... This sub really needs time for revison cuz it's nt easy.

On last wed, i went to watch pirates and the carribean part3. It was a movie which i longed to watch. It was really a great action movie with wonderful costumes and plot. I was really suprised with the ending. Hopefully, i can watch it again if possible. Among the 3 series, i guess this is the greatest of all. The next movie i'm targetting will be HARRY POTTER!!! Haha! It's like this year is all the trilology movies are all out. Last month, i just watched Spiderman 3. It's also great!

I'm really satisfied with my group of friends now... They are really understanding and caring. Sarah ,wenyi and i had planned to go to the zoo during our term break. We are really excited about this trip there. I will also make time to meet Sharon arh... Later she will be angry with me if i dun go out wif her. HAha! But i feel that the term break is like no break lor. We've to choing our group projects during that 2 weeks holiday. No matter what, i will make use of that 2 weeks efficeintly. In addition, i also want to work and earn more money and myself to spend during the GReat Sinagpore Sales. HAha, i shall stop now le.

I'm really relieved....

It has been a long time i didn't blog already... Finally, i insist myself to make a new post today. On last fri, i wen to watch movie (200 pounds beauty) at TM with one of my classmates, Elieen. We got two free tickets from one of our classmates as he is working at GV cinema. Overall, i like that show.. It was really touching and i like the songs which the lead actress sang. Her name is Kim ah joong. Her voice is really good... I've added one of the songs in my blog... Feel free to listen to it... It's really nice...200 pounds beauty

After the movie, we had to go back to TP for our HTM's orientation at 5.30pm. I really enjoyed myself during the orientation. We did a lot of cheers and played a lot of exciting games. There was one game that is somehow like captain ball and netball but players had to throw items like raw chicken and tennis ball. It was really digusting to throw the chicken around and the field was really wet since it rained before that. Luckily, i didn't need to participate in this game as we had enough players already. If the field is not muddy, i will want to participate! Haha! My class 1H12 had took alot of photos on that day. It's really fun! Below are some pictures which we took on that day.

It going to be the end of second week in sch at TP already. Overall, i like the school. However, i really missed my secondary school life, classmates and teachers! Maybe i'm still very new to the environment... Hopefully, i can have a lot of friends and we are really caring towards each other. I find that many of my classmates belong to the very hyper-active one... Maybe i belong to the quite type bah... So from today onwards, i'll try to change myself to be more active! Hopefully i can talk more and contribute more to my class. By then, i hope myclassmates don't find me as a nuisience can le. Hiaz, for the fundamental Food and Beverage... It seems more or less like Food and Nutrition which i had studied in my secondary life. Haiz, now more worse than F&N! The tutorial for F&B is to find 10 different types of food every week and present them in Microsoft Powerpoint. I'm so nervous about this subject because the teacher has very high expectation onus. I'm really afraid that i didn't do well for the turorial and presentation. Although the teacher will pick randomly among us to present, i'm still really tense up if i'm not going to speak well when my turn comes. Luckily, i started to do tutorial 2 for F&B yesterday liao. So i'm free on this weekend le! Haha! I need to work on relax as well.... I had just finished tutorial 2 just now. Keke! Today, during our breaktime in F&B lecture class, i had taken a photo with one of my classmates, Wenyi. She came from JB two weeks ago only. I had read her blog and i got to know that she faces a lot of stress especially her English language. Hopefully, she will approach me whenever she needs help.

Just now, around 7 plus, i went to collect my mum's medical report again. I'm really worried while i was on my way there. If the result was bad, my brother and i would have to go for blood test. It's really lucky that my mum only suffer from mild anaemia. She just need to eat some iron supplement and a type of medicine to help her reduce her flow of mens. Hahaha! Finally, i don't need to brood about this anymore! I had been really paranoid these few days! I'm also really happy for my cousin joey; she has been awarded for the top 10% students again who excel well in their studies for the academic year! Well done, joey! I must learn from you and i must aim for this award too, Haha! Yeah, tml going to watch Spidy le! Finally, i manage to book 4 tickets from the AXS machine a few days ago. Can u imagine that LIdo and Bugis are already fully booked for the timing around 6-7plus on sun(29/4/07) already?!

Why like that?

Today, my lesson started at 4pm. By right, it should end at 6 yet the lectuerer let us go before 5.30pm. OMG.... I went to school for just a few hours only. Waste time.... Somemore, school just started... We have to pay a lot of money for the notes which are prepared by the lecturers. The worst was that i had to buy those thick thick textbooks which each costs more than thirty dollars. I must claimed the money from my dad or else i'll be broke soon... After school, there were many of us who wanted to eat our dinner. However, there were many of them who wanted to go TM but Elieen and i did not want to. So the two of us went to the canteen at Design School. We thought that there will be more variety of food there but we were wrong. Overall, Elieen and i felt that we did not have a sense of security in with our classmates as we still have not got a stable click yet. Hopefully, i can get a click soon... Tomorrow, a group of us will be going to eat our lunch at TP's Jupiter Cafe. I hope i can mix well with them as i feel quite left out with some of them. Maybe i'm too quiet already... Haha, must start to be talkative!!!! Elieen and i have thought of going for movies tomorrow but watching movie on Mon will be cheaper. So maybe next mon, we'll be going for a movie... But i'm wondering if it will cost us a bomb on the eve of public holiday?

After the dinner, i went to Bedok interchange to meet my mum. We went to collect her medical report. I was really relieved and worried when the doctor explained to us about the report. Her blood pressure and cholesterol are normal. However, the red blood cells are slightly smaller than normal ones. Then there are two possibilities. Firstly, it may be due to lack of iron. Or maybe due to a condition called thalassaemia trait(some sort of anaemia). I was really worried because the doctor said that if my mum really get thalassaemia trait, the chance i'll be inherited from this will be 50%. This disease will not have any symtoms but it will carried on to the next generation. I really prayed hard that she is not suffering from this or else i have to go for a blood test to confirm. Please.... I don't want my future kids to suffer!!!
