4th week of SIP

It has been the 4th week of SIP life that we are going through now.

Life goes on as usual for me... Doing filing, generating documents, handle enquires, make bookings...

Erm... Just feel that i am quite careless at times... Rushing to finish a task yet never check through thoroughly.... ><

This is my sotong characteristic lor....

In every company, more or less, there will be office politics...

This company is still quite alright...

Even there is, I try to refrain myself from getting involve... hahaha...

Last Friday, my bebe went to have lunch with me at Fu Lin Yong Toufu... He is also tempted to give it a try lor... hahah... It's such a coincidence that my colleague was busy with meeting that day and lucky my bebe came down to meet me for lunch... Or else, I think I might have to eat lunch alone.

Probably on the month of Nov, the cruise department (back operation) will shift from amoy street to china street to merge with the retail outlet once the renovation work is done. It will be more convenient for both front and back department to work more efficiently.

Fungyi's birthday is on 22nd of Sept and we will have a belated birthday lunch with her on either coming mon or tues. Although I am quite broke now but still must have a meal with Fungyi and Eeling... We are friends since primary school! hahaha...

Entering the 4th week of SIP

Coming week, it is the 4th week that I have been with my SIP company.

Erm... How should i say?

Life with this company is quite stable and peaceful.

I have been doing admin work since i entered this company. This is what I have been longing for it.

I am really happy that the mangement posted me to the back operations instead of the retail department.

Although i didn't deal directly with clients and travel agencies, general knowledge on the cruise products and cabin configuration are essential. I need to provide them with all these necessary information before they make bookings for any cruises.

On the 19th and 20th September, it is the travel fiesta fair. Too bad they do not need so many staff this time round and it is also a good opportunity for me to sleep more. hahaha...

For these few days, i have been waking up around late morning. Feeling really shiok ah!

Good things have been happening around my close friends.

Feel so happy for them.

Weina and Joey seem to have a great start and probably going to have a new life journey soon!^^

As for wenyi, dream come true for her as her SIP company allows her to tour lead overseas on sat.

Hope she has enjoyed herself throughout!

As for Sarah, she gave up for overseas SIP. We didn't blame her but just hope that she'll be able to secure one job placement asap. Last week, I am the first to know that she has been selected for Regeant Hotel locally for SIP! Wohhoooo! Fantastic! She will be starting work tml already... Guess she'll going to have a fun time overthere but tends to be difficult to ask her out since she'll have shiftwork.

My Bebe ah... Having a 3 weeks break now. However, he has some project to rush out before she starts again... Hope that I will be able to meet him more this time round... Hahaha...

Today is my brother's 17th birthday... Hope that he'll grow up to be a more independent guy who can handle everything by himself. That's fast! Next year, he'll be 18 and i'll be 21st. We all are grown up kids! hahahha... Time flies ah....

SIP started

It has been a week that my student internship started. Up till now, i still haven't fully adapt to the daily routine. I need to wake at at 7am daily as more time is needed for preparation in the morning such as make-up, change clothes etc...

For the first week of SIP, i realised that most of the people at Citystate Holidays are quite friendly. It is a very nice environment for interns to gain many useful tips and knowledge that is related to the travel industry.

On the first day of our Orientation, Purdee and I were quite bored at the later part of the day as we sat at our workplace from 1-6pm to read up all the company related cruise brochures.... It was really a boring day which time flew very slowly!!!

For the past 4 days, Purdee and I had been helping our Manager of the Cruise Dept to do admin related work such as printing, checking and filing of documents. Sarah is very nice to us as she gave us a lunch treat on Wednesday at Amoy Food Centre. We ate seafood such as toufou, symbal crayfish and sweet n sour pork. I like the crayfish a lot as the owner removed the shells for us! So delicious!! There are so many delicious food there but most of the stalls will have a long long queue. That's y Purdee and I don't really like to walk there as it is some distance away from our office.

For the 1st week of intern, i was very contented as i had Purdee to accompany me the whole day. However, she will be going over to the other side of the retail store which is about 5 minutes walk away from the main office. I will be staying at the office to assist the cruise depart.

I have to work on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. However, on the 19th and 20th of sept, there will be a travel fair which Purdee and I have to be involved... Although it's going to be very tiring (no off days for me for the coming 3 Saturdays)>< , I can earn extra money... hahahha...

Coming Monday, I think i will be quite lonely if i stil stayed at the current seat... Wondering if i have people to accompany me for lunch from tml onwards... There is one graduate from Tourism Academy of Sentosa, who is very friendly.... Hope i can learn more tips from her during this trip... hahaha...

Since the day which i went out to eat dinner with dear after work, i doubt i will want to go out after work during weekday. I really can feel my body aching, insufficient rest... Very tired.... I guess is the travelling part which makes me very tired. From tanjong pagar to my workplace, it is quite a distance way. The heels which also adds on to my physical tiredness.... That's y i went to buy a flat shoes for myself yesterday. I will wear that flat shoes at least twice a day so that my feet will not be suffering throughout the 5 months.

Last Friday, i went out with Eeling and Fungyi for dinner at Tampines Mall, Ding Tai Fung. Finally have the chance to eat something that i always craved for... hahha... The food that we ordered were super nice... Yummy!

However, Fungyi's feeling unwell that day... That's why we ate something light for that night.

I received a handbag from them as a gift and i am thankful that they chose that! hahah... Cuz i need a new handbag for coming internship.

We chatted while eating until the restaurant called for its last order. I realised that life will not always stay at certain level.

I hope Eeling and Fungyi's life will turn for the better in the coming days...

On Saturday, i went out to eat with Loong, Veralyn and Weina at Say Cheese ( Tamp 1). The food quality is considered as quite alright.

However, the restaurant was a little busy since it's a weekend. We had no other plans after We all were craving for some small dessers to eat except for Loong as he was too full. Finally, we decided to sit at JCO as the cafe was cozy for chit chating and gossiping.

Loong and Weina gave me a mousey series of pencil holder and mouse keychain plus fancyful paper clips from precious moments. Very cute!! Thanks ya!! ^^

I was even surprised that Veralyn gave me a box of eye shadow of 6 shades. I also need a new eye shadow for the coming days of work life... Thank you my dear frens...

Hahha, Veralyn still thought i'm 19 this year... Feel so young now... Keke...

OMG... 2 of my friends (Weina and Eeling) are going to turn 21 this year... Have to start thinking what to get for them as a meaningful gift..

Later going to watch harry potter with joey and my brother. By right, caryl is going with us but she has to work last min. so we will be going to hav dinner tml lo... ^^ hahha

Project Meeting at Bugis

This afternoon, i had a project meeting with my team members at Bugis TCC.

It is really a costly restaurant for us to have project discussion. I ordered a green tea cake which cost me $7 including gst and service charge.

I regretted ordering that cake all due to my craving voice inside me><

It seems like this project meeting was a bit rush as most of us have something on after meeting.

We started from 2pm to 5plus.

I hope we can finish on time....

I have to admit that sometimes my attitude to my friends may not be that good. Sorry friends...

I will try to change for the better.

For those who are very close to me will see my turn face... hohoho...

After meeting, Liyuen and Lyefong accompanied Sarah to meet her sis as Sarah's sis wanted to buy a camera... As recommended by CK, i really hope that ppl around me who want to buy a new cam, pls buy canon if u r pursuing for a cam that can capture clear photos even in super near distance. The zooming power is superb! However, the night mode is not very good. as i had used it once. I had difficulty in adjusting the mode to adapt for night lightings....

After that, i went to CK's house for dinner... kekek.... save money afteralll... ^^ we watched 金钱帝国 which is a HK movie at tudou... Not too bad afterall except a little violent!! Such a coincidence that my dad is playing this show when i reached home... hahah...

Still wondering if i have to attend sch on fri???

This fri, i'll be having dinner with funyi and eeling... It's like we only meet up about once a yr... hahah.... hope to have a gathering soon with the two of them...

On sat, i'm going to have a meal with loong, weina and veralyn lo.... hahahha.... but dun know where we are going also... hahaha

On sun!!! It's the day which i have prayed for it to come... Harry potter and the half blood prince... I'm going to watch with Joey and Caryl.... kekek... so happy la....

Going to get my work done asap... ^^
